What can we make with 500g Nutrify Prep Packs of proteins, carbs, or veggies? A lot! It’s just right for a small and cosy get together anytime.

You can bring out all the fresh veggies and fruits, herbs and sauces, cute bamboo boats and toothpicks, and have yourself a #PrepAParty contest with family or friends to make the healthiest canapés this season!

Canapés consist of three parts the base, spread/toppings and garnish. It’s like a bite-size, open-faced sandwich. The base holds the spread and garnish. Types of base you can use:

  • Bread cut-outs
  • Toast cut-outs
  • Crackers
  • Short dough shell
  • Puff pastry shell
  • Pita bread
  • Pizza dough
  • Roti Prata base
  • Tortilla chips or cups
  • Cucumber slices too!

  1. Kebabs! Stick it, heat it, eat it! You’ll need
    +satay sticks +fresh bell peppers in red, yellow, green + onions
  2. Mini Kebabs!
    +toothpicks +cherry tomato (halved or whole)

  1. Mayo Lemon Tilapia on Rice Crackers
    +mayonnaise +fresh herbs +ground black peppers + rice crackers
    OR REPLACE crackers with cucumber slices!
  2. Lemon Tilapia Zucchini Bites
    +mashed up tilapia with extra lemon zest +sliced zucchini baked +chilli flakes (optional) +parmesan cheese (optional)


  1. Turkey Thyme Cranberry
    easy to make – steam fresh cranberries till soft + honey or raw sugar mix together
    + cracker base
  2. Turkey Thyme Skewers
    technically still a kebab +cherry tomatoes +cucumber


  1. Sweet Potato Chicken
    diced or thinly sliced chicken +hand-mashed sweet potatoes +base of your choice
    (Did you know that frozen roti prata can be used to make puff pastry wraps too?)
  2. Chicken Mushroom
    OR use lettuce wraps +mashed poatatoes +sliced brown msuhrooms
    OR use fresh mini portebello mushroom caps as base +toppings +cheese and bake!


  1. Salmon Cheese
    +cottage cheese +salmon +lemon zest +base of cucumber or cracker
  2. Salmon Mayo Tomato
    +fresh tomaoes, cut into quarters (take out the seed section) +salmon mayo (or hummus!)

There is no limit to the amount of garnishings you can find to make your canapes colourful, tasty, and the life of the party – the trick is to find the right balance of savoury, sweet, sour, and spicy:

  • Caviar
  • Capers
  • Shaved truffles
  • Olives
  • Peppers or chilli flakes
  • Avocado
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Pickles or even kimchi
  • Greens, such as watercress or arugula
  • Nuts like cashew, almonds; or seeds like sesame, sunflower
  • Fresh herbs like parsley, dill, basil, chives, cilantro, thyme
